WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT
FROM OTHER FERTILITY SPECIALISTS?
There are plenty of us, fertility doctors, so how to choose where to go and who to trust? Right now I want to to tell you what might make me different from the others.
- I haven’t stopped at getting my own professional experience as an OB/GYN, and, besides having a constant occupation in a very specific and practical part of medical science (ART programs, to be precise), I am interested in other aspects of healthcare just as much
- Endocrine Gynaecology issues (without knowing them it is impossible to be a prolific fertility specialist) still remains the cornerstone of my interests: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), hysteromyoma, endometriosis, Menopausal Hormone Therapy and Contraception - everything gynaecologist-endocrinologist is usually engaged in
- “Always think one step forward” is what I can call my motto. I am not just interested in two straws on a pregnancy test as a treatment outcome - I also take care of the recipient’s future health fully
- Related Pathology. I always pay attention to different symptoms that are common for related health disorders (non-gynaecological) and refer my patient to corresponding specialists before I start any IVF treatment
To sum up:
- I am not one of those types of doctors who launch IVF procedures rashly. I prefer to first get into the roots of the problem. IVF treatment may not be necessary – it is the opposite that must be proven
- I have decided for myself to not to exercise multiple, inefficient and worthless IVF procedures (i.e., IUIs) in case of male factor or long-lasting infertility in both patients
- “If you want to understand the reasons and the consequences slightly beyond these two straws on Pregnancy Test (pregnancy care, expectations prior and after childbirth, further living quality…), feel free to begin your journey with me”
